Imagine Me and You

If `loving Annabelle' is the kind of love and tears movie, `Imagine me and you' is a humor, humor then love one.

"You could meet someone, or just... across a room, and with that one glance you could look in their eyes and see their soul. Do you believe that could happen?" That what happened to Rachel (Piper Perabo) in her weeding day after a brief but deep eye contact with Luce (Lena Headey), a lesbian florist, who'll be the new Rachel's friend.

After spending some times with her new friend, it became more difficult to Rachel to deny her feelings toward Luce and starts questioning her own sexuality (All women are heterosexual until they are not!). "You make me feel something I absolutely cannot feel" Said Rachel to Luce when she finally admitted she was really falling in love with that woman. So Luce decides to walk away and to not break the couple's union. After awhile, Rachel discovers that a couple won't go far if they don't love each other.

If you want to be happy you should be honest and to be honest you should not lie and pretend you are happy …. So go for your passion and give the other one his chance the find happiness with someone else who truly loves him. That was the main idea of the film in my opinion.

What I liked the most in that movie is that everyone is funny and lovable, even a simple costumer in a flower shop will make you laugh. The script's very amusing with a cute dialogue in a British English accent.

So yeah, Imagine Me and You I would have to say is one of the best lesbian movies of our time. Very witty, very clever and very sweet. Lena Headey is a knock-out and we already know and adore Piper Perabo from Lost and Delirious. A match made in heaven for these two quirky brits who meet at a wedding, one of their own! From then on it is all about the connection and the love. There is a nice switch in the friendship which carries the film into the gay arena, thank God! Definitly check this one out.

Lena Headey is the sexiest woman in England and Piper Perabo is the sexiest woman in America. Put them together and you have one fantastic romp of fun and beauty. So the story goes...boy meets girl, boy gets girl, girl meets new girl, girl falls in love with girl, boy loses girl, girl and girl live happily ever after!
